Which trans parts are you installing? Aren't you running the Performabuilt?

I bought the highest level 5 package from Transbuilder guy and broke it before I made a 1/4 mile pass. The pump rotor broke because of the input vs output speed sensors difference with my stall on this year transmission. The computer would jack the line pressure through the roof to try to even them out and break the plastic pump rotor.

It took a while but Transbuilderguy covered the new pump and billet rotor from TCI to avoid this from happening again. Both pieces should be here Wednesday. I'll swap out the broken parts for the new billet one and should be back on the ground.

I asked him if there was ANY other upgrades available for this transmission, he said no. So well see what happens.

Do you think it'll live behind 600 wheel? What's the plan if it doesn't?

Note to all. The Trans needs to be plugged in for the motor to test fire.

I got the motor installed and fully connected. Cranked the key and nothing. Lol. My buddy told me the computer won't allow it to crank unless it sees the gear selector. Pushed the Trans under the truck and plugged it in. Turned the key and she fired right up.

No hesitation. Instant 45psi oil. No leaks or knocks or anything crazy. I let it run for a bit and seemed fine. Ran pretty well for one 02 sensor and two vacuum leaks. Got it up to temp. Seemed perfect. Slowly Brought rpm up to about 3k. Seems good.

Can't wait to get everything buttoned up and see what it will do.

Hey man it was worth a try. You've been spot on with everything with my build so far, Do you think it'll make 600? Or need a different turbo or meth?

I know how much work you've done to your truck so when you do get the number, you will have deserved it. Although I would be slightly surprised if you pickup 111rwhp from a cam change alone?
