Well looks like you will be set up and taken care of so all is well.
I've broken a few F-body trannies and they did the exact same thing. Floor it then nothing, then lots of rev limiter banging lol. Not sure what went exactly.

I am at the tranny shop right now. Tranny is all taken out. It was the Hub on the Torque converter that gave out and waisted the pump. Dave said he has never seen that before. Called Precision and it will take 3 days to get another one here. So Dave is going to put a stock converter in to get me back to Calif and precision will ship it directly to me. So the only thing this episode will cost me is the R&R of the tranny to put the Torque converter in when It arrives in Calif.
I will post pictures of the broken parts when I get back home.
Besides the broken parts the tranny still looks brand new inside. It probably has 8000 Hard miles on this tranny and close to 20 1/4 passes.
I will keep you guys informed

hey Mark
Nice to finally be able to put a face with a name..sorry we had to under the circumstances....but we got you going thats the important thing...hey got to looking at these clutchs there was only three thousands overall wear...That is remarkable for the weight and the conditions that this trans is under. I think it's the amsoil; damn! we found no wear whatsoever...we didn't expect to find much but we expect more than what we did.... well hope your home we'll chat later... Hope this helps Dave We sent the t/c off to Jack ..Take care Mark

Today my tuner tweaked my tune a little and I went out to take it for a test drive and launched the tranny. I have no foward or reverse gears. I neither felt nor heard anything. I was on the top of second gear and all of a sudden I bounced off the rev limiter. Thought maybe it missed the shift for some reason. So I slowed down and pushed on the throttle and nothing. Came to a complete stop and tried all gears and nothing. It was 7:00 pm on a Sat evening and I am 1700 miles from home in Arlington Texas. I had bought my tranny from Rock-On transmissions. I knew he was somewhere in Texas. So I thought I would give him a call and leave a message on his voice mail. But Dave picked up. Come to find out he is about 60 min. from where I am. So I had AAA tow my truck back to the Hotel and He said he will have his tow company pick up my truck from the Hotel on Sunday and start working on it Monday morning. He was very nice about it and said he will take care of me. Great customer service.
I will keep you guys posted.
