I would work with the 112... 500rwhp is doable for sure. It will take most of the bolt ons to get there, but cheaper than going to the 2300. I made 550rwhp with my 112 on a LQ4 at 8 psi.

The MP112 is a proven blower. Pulley it down, get some headers and a cam (easy stuff) and save yourself a pile of cash. Fix that tranny and get on with it.

Oops, sorry, old(er) thread.

I was running a LQ4 with a 112 @9psi and a GT2-3 cam. Made 470/500 and I ran it trouble free for years. The stock 80E with a shift kit will hold that power easily. My numbers were through a 60E at the time but, I was also rolling on 24X10 rims so that robbed some power.
I'm not sure why Magnuson would say they don't know about a 2300 on a LQ9, there are probably dozens of guys on this board with that set-up.
A mail order tune is not goiong to get you every drop of HP. I'm sure your tune is fine but, I'm also sure it's pretty conservative. Getting on a dyno and dialing your exact set-up in the best way to get all the power.
