Default Which a2w kit for supercharger?

Hey guys, I'm running a sidemount mp90 that i'm ditching for a sidemount mp112, I know the mp112 can put out about 820cfm at 14k, and around 1000cfm around 16500k. I'm going to fab an air to water kit from frozen boost to use on this setup to get my temps in check, question is, There 600hp kit with the 3'' in/out says it supports 700cfm, will that not be enough for this unit? I will run a max of a 3'' pulley on my truck for now, I would like to make sure the intercooler can keep up with the s/c and not rob performance by being restrictive, I know you turbo guys use this same intercooler, the u shaped one with inlet/outlet on same side, i believe its the 12x12.5x 4.5 version. And will I expect a lot of boost drop? I'm running straight from the charger to the intercooler, about 2.5ft then takes a u turn through the cooler and goes about 1.5ft into the engine with very slight bends, 45* or less through entire system. 3'' piping or 3.5'' if I can find it. Do i need a higher cfm intercooler or can you push a lot through their setups?

Thanks

Water To Air

its the one that comes in there 600hp kit. I see it all the time with the turbo guys, I just know i'll only be running around 8psi, and I dont want to lose a psi because its too restrictive.

Well don't be suprised if you lose 1psi or so, this is pretty much going to happen no matter what you do. The intercooler that you posted should work fine, many people use them on turbo setups.

My old air to air setup on a kenne bell lost about 2psi but that was allot more piping and bigger intercooler.

Thats the IC me and my buddy are running.. works great!

I ran it for years with my STS kit.
Just get a good heat exchanger like the TVS one and your set.

The bosch pump on frozen boost is a good one also.

alright, i'm just worried about restriction if its only good for 700 cfm or 600hp, If I end up doing a cam and long tubes and running more boost like around 8-10psi, would I be restricted? Or do you think this unit will still flow? And are they 3'' o.d. inlet outlet? I've read that they are like 2 7/8?

I've still got a heat exchanger for sale if you're interested in putting together your own kit. Its rated for 1200hp, so they say.

Your blower will run out of steam before that intercooler becomes a restriction.
