Default Adding a fuel return line to the Radix

Lately I've been logging my fuel pressure via EFI live and I've noticed that it drops down as low as 52psi under WOT. My motor is a 05 LQ4 so it has the returnless fuel system.

When I did my engine swap I ordered a tank with fuel pump provisions inside and I am using the Radix supplied pump. My tank is set up for a return line and presently I'm using a Corvette fuel filter/regulator back at the tank.

What I am thinking about doing is using a aeromotive P/N 13101 (pic below) and plumbing it in between the 2 fuel rails at the front of the motor. I could build a bracket to support it and bolt it to the back of the super charger snout. This regulator is also boost referenced and I think that would help keep my fuel pressure where it needs to be as well.

Anyone have any input as to if this will help or any ideas how others have done this?

Thanks,

Bill

If fuel pressure is dropping at WOT then your pump may not be able to keep up. How is the pump wired?

Does anyone know what size the fittings are on the radix fuel rails? It looks like they are 6AN but if someone knows might save me from buying extra fittings.

Thanks,

Bill

I think they are 6AN, your plan is one that I have considered before.....I believe that moregrip is doing something similar to your idea.

I have a return-style Radix fuel manifold if you need one.
