holset has a simpler design for their "VNT" turbos, a vane that slides for and aft to change the actual area (or "nozzle") instead of changing the angle at which it hits the turbine. It also is much easier to convert for mechanical linkage

I bet a pair of the holsets off of 07.5 - 09 dodges would be great on a 6.0, and can be had for $250 or so a piece used on fleagay.....

Ok, so I emailed these guys this weekend and they called me back this morning. They are in fact still in business and will sell me turbo's (they pretty much stopped selling just turbo's to the general public) at dealer cost so I could build some one a kit with them if they want one. He said there G8 is still running strong without any issues after 60k miles on the turbo's. Also told me their big turbo is good for about 400hp, so a pair would be good to around 800hp. Any takers??

I'd still be worried about reliability, especially given the failures of the past. Did they speak to the improvements they've made to avoid past problems?
Not having oil lines and scavenge pumps should make designing an inexpensive (minus the turbo's) kit easier.

I went to school in daytona at AMI... we had a dyno shootout a couple times a year and the aerocharged harleys always put great numbers down... Seems like they were pretty big then, circa 98-99. Seemed like a good product at the time.

i was going to say holset as well , they have been coming on cummins diesels for a while now.
it would be way cool to see a setup with one work , this would be the best of both worlds with little lag and great top end. if everything works that is.
