Aeromotive 340 vs Bosch 044

A big consideration will be what your injectors flow at 3bar, vs. 4bar. You may get 340lph out of the pump, but flow may be reduced at the injectors.

I was going to start a new thread for fuel system help, but since this one is here and current, I'll post here.
I am helping a friend re-do his fuel system. He currently has twin 255s intank and is having fuel supply issues. I did his current setup and its not very nice. Bottom of fuel module is cut out, etc. I told him we should copy the twin in tank thread on here to a tee as it is a very nice setup. However, his tuner recommended leaving one 255 intank and adding 1 044 inline. Either way we go, its going from returnless to return style and getting a boost referenced regulator.
Vehicle is an 06 Gmc 1500 ECSB 2wd with a factory LQ9 ( now forged 370ci.) with an FLT L5 80E swap, 3200 Cirle D. Engine has O-ringed TFS ?? CC heads. I believe the cam is .580/ .580 228-235. Front mount turbonetics 76mm turbo currently at 12# with 60# (3 bar rated) injectors.
He is looking for a reliable 650rwhp that can be daily driven. I'm not sure what max attainable power this combo is truly capable of producing, but he would like to be able to obtain it in the future without having to upgrade the fuel system again. He started having this truck built a year ago and has had a terrible time. He has only got to drive it 4-6 days in a year, gone thru a couple engines, and is sitting at a little over 20K invested having only expected 9 or so. He NEEDS help.
I'm not entirely sure why he has been thru two engines because there is an Innovate WBO2 installed and clearly visable. At this point money is least important and safety/ reliability is most important.
Do you guys vote for a nice twin 255 intank, with or without BAPs? Or a single 255 intank feeding an 044 inline with or without BAPs? Or a 340 intank feeding an inline 044 with or without BAPs? Either way will be boost referrenced return style.
Sorry for the super long post... many say I talk too damn much. Thanks guys!

We are also planning on running one pump continuously and bringing the second pump on via second relay and a hobbs switch. I wonder if we go the online route, can we run the intank pump continuously pushing thru the inline pump until positive MAP occurs?

I have # 11142 inlet/outlet both offset to the same side. No clue if it is the correct one for my app. but it doesn't matter I can make anything work. Hopefully I can get it installed tonight, got the submersible fuel hose in yesterday.

Cool. So the theory is that a higher flowing feed pump will net more volume at the rails? In other words, 340---044 will net more volume than 255---044? I don't understand how two pumps working in series compares to two configured in parallel. Confuses me. In series, does it really matter what pump is in the tank? Stock vs. 255 vs. 340?
