Get your own tuning software, learn how to use the scanner portion, and fix the tune on your own. There's plenty of help available to you.
In my opinion, that's the best way to make your truck run right. Otherwise get a local dyno tune or street tune. Mailorder will never make you happy, besides making your setup basically driveable.

I wish I would have just bought the tuning software in the first place, but if I am going to spend another $500 I'll just buy the meth and drive it to Nelson to get it tuned
my AFR sits at 11.0 at WOT and now I'm getting a misfiring code P1301 (which I never got before I installed this new tune). I can feel the misfiring when I'm going over 50mph and go WOT, but from a stop up to 50mph its fine

Thanks for the help AKlo, I emailed nelson to let them know that the AFR is at 11.0
I wonder what the hell is wrong with this truck... looks like this weekend I'll be looking over everything real hard

the transmission feels great (knock on wood), firm shifts no slipping at all (knock on wood)

You have a lot of things to check to get your truck running right. 5.3's have decent power stock, so if your feels weak like a 4.3/4.8 out of boost then you have bigger problems.

well... looks like I jinxed myself.. tonight I went WOT from a stop to see how it would act (a cold front came through, so IAT temps were at 80 degrees). Huge improvement, so big that I screwed my transmission up...
now the shifts from 1-2 are very long (wont shift into 2nd until at about 3k RPM, even when I barely give it throttle) and if I start off in 2nd the 2-3 shift is exactly the same.
Looks like this thread will be on hold for a while.. gah, my luck

Sorry for your misfortune, I feel your pain.
