I know a buddy in Wyoming that would be more than willing to bring down his 91 to have a custom kit built for it

id like a 4l80e crossmember for my SS. in aluminum if possible that would be sweet. with the DS loop. let me know how much and when. these future mods soon are gonna destroy my 4l65 lol

and what kinda of price and design on the bars we looking at? i like the idea of long bars

If I'm not mistaken he's already working on the crossmember. I want mine in steel.

sweet. i want it in alum why not shave couple pounds unless the price difference is hugggggee. not like it does much but hold the tran up the motor mounts take most the hit

He hasn't advertised any prices yet, but I imagine aluminum would be significantly more and would add to cost disproportionately. Once you put the 80e in, you aren't going to notice the difference between a steel and aluminum x-member

Racing seat mounts would be badass, I'd deffinately pick a pair up.

This is the thing about Aluminum... 1/3 the weight, 3 TIMES the price. And I'm pretty sure NHRA wouldn't allow an aluminum drive shaft loop. I've gotten a bit bogged down with projects here lately, but still have the traction bars in the works, should have pics of them shortly, but cross member may be a while till I have more time for them.
