Anyone tried the S300SX-E yet?
I came across this turbo in my search for a good turbo for my build. I am thinking it would be pretty good for my 5.3 and a goal of 500hp for my daily driver. It would be the S369. It does have a compressor map but I need to freshen up on my skills of reading it.
Anyone currently running one or have any experience with these?

Here are the specs
Compressor Specifications
Compressor Type: Forged-Milled Wheel (FMW) Extended Tip
Compressor Wheel OD (exducer): 91.4mm
Compressor Wheel Inducer: 69mm
Max Flow Rate: 100+ lb/min
Compressor Housing Connections:
Inlet: 4.0" Hose Coupler
Outlet: 2.5" Hose Coupler
Turbine Specifications
Turbine Type: Inconel S300SX Turbine Wheel
Turbine Wheel OD: 80mm
Housing Material: D5S sandcast
Housing size and A/R ratio: S300SXE 9180 is available in (3) different turbine housing configurations:
0.88 A/R T4 Single Scroll
0.91 A/R T4 Twin Scroll
1.00 A/R T4 Twin Scroll
Turbine outlet: 3" Marmon OR optional 3" Vband
This image quality sucks. I'll see if I can get a better compressor map.

I have a standard S366 going on the blow through carb 5.3 in my 69 C-10 and am going to put one of those on my my 01 turbo truck probable with a new iron 5.7 in a couple months. Should be a nice, quick spooling turbo for those kinda cubic inches.

So I found a company that sells a milled turbine housing that accepts a 3 or 3.5" v-band in all different size A/R's. I think this would bolt right up to a standard set of hot pipes so I can piece together my own kit.

From the pics I have seen on that housing. I think it would still be off.
You have to deal with all 3points.
Up/down
Left/right
Rear/forward.
Any point off standard down pipe won't fit from small t4 pipes.
But a little modding is t a big deal. For one is switching over.

Here are the dimensions of the S300sx. It should be the same turbine housing as the S300sx-e. I would imagine that them milling the housing might have a slight effect on it. How does this compare to your average T4 turbo? I couldn't find any good dimensions on something like a PT7275.

T4 flange height on the S300's is the same as the S400 housings, a 1/2 taller then a small frame T4 like a PT76 or Turbonietics TC76. The milled v band outlet should be pretty close to the same front to back as them as well.
I build my "big" T4 manifolds 1/2" shorter on the T4 flange part to make the down pipes location the same as my normal t4. Have to do the same with the S300 stuff as well.
I hope that makes since, lol.
