Wondering if anyone has ran the 220 or 224 cams that TSP offers with the XER lobes in their supercharged 5.3L? If so how well did it perform? Was any boost lost?

I believe 05stepside uses a 224 XE lobe @114 on his rear/mid mount turbo and it seems to run pretty damn good... He has scared me a few times in it...

It depends on what type of fi he goes with to whether it will work good. Its a difference between working and working very well.

say a tvs1900? have a tr220 112 right now. would it be imperitive to swap to something else right away? or would the gains be minimal enough to just roll with it for now?

I am running a tsp 224r on a 112lsa.. It runs fine. A turbo it might be a turd, but a blower should be fine, other then bleeding off a hint of boost, depending on what lsa it is..

Ur right it wouldn't be too much of a big deal with a blower. But if u haven't gotten the cam yet why not get a blower cam. I can see if you already were running it
