why the hangers look funny ?

 

I was wondering that myself. Not real sure what's going on with that...all I can think is that maybe the 6.0 trucks with the factory duals have something there.

 

I think they come with a plate that mounts to the transmission that is has a tab and a rubber exhaust mount.

I picked up mine from the dealer using the escalade as a reference.

It relpaces the plain heatshield that mounts to the 4l65 tranny. you may need to think otherwise,due to using the 4l80.

You could try using a 2500 hd with a 6.0 4l80 combo? that combo has the Rubber isolater mounting to the frame (I think?).
