You could try using a 2500 hd with a 6.0 4l80 combo? that combo has the Rubber isolater mounting to the frame (I think?).
Let me know if you find the part # as I also have the ARH/80E combo.

Is there a heat shield for the 80Es?

Mike took me dumpster diving at the Chevy dealer today and I got a trashed exhaust system so Kyle could steal the hangers from it. Also got the front exhaust mount that bolts to the trans, so we (by we, I mean Kyle with me getting in the way as much as possible) should be good to get started on it tonight

It's going to be all stainless

I remember the phrase "cold side", can't remember what it means though. And I have no idea what you mean by "painted"
