Default Backpressure

Has anyone put a pressure gauge in the exhaust to measure back-pressure?

For a turbo, maybe pre amd post turbo?

Pre turbo would show if the turbo turbine/exhaust housing was a restriction?
And post turbo would show if the exhuast was gettin to its limits of flow and backing up?

I cant sleep and for some reason just thought bout it.*

You've got it all right I haven't tested backpressure though. I just run a giant turbine and housing so as to not worry about backpressure lol. When in boost, your boost:backpressure ratio should stay pretty consistent depending on engine specs until either the compressor runs out of steam or the turbine has had all it can take. Higher the ratio the better!

S480 with the 96mm turbine, 1.32ar. Has about a second spool time to full boost from a 30 roll. Not the best, but manageable.

Its a 6.0. Had it on the 4.8 as well...that was some lag and then some! Very little backpressure though.
