Default belt size/radix/smaller pulleys

I can't find any good thread(s) with lots of different radix opinions on belt sizes. I am running the 3.0 and I not real sure what to diagnose on a lower than normal boost scenario(everything mechanical checks out, besides making sure the crank pulley isn't slipping), but with all of this belt dust I have my suspicions.

So after searching through a bunch of threads I'll just start another thread that I know is out there somewhere;

What pulley and belt size are you guys running with your radix setup. Obviously no UDP guys. If you have a gatorback what part number?

Thanks for participating.

Here is the Gatorback part number used with my 3.1 pulley: 4061105 and another number which is 6PK2805. Not sure of the size, I think it may be 110.5 inches. There is plenty left on the tensioner as well. Good luck man.

thanx, i was reading that the 110.5 is as small as it goes. Any truth to that? If so, belt slip must suck for going to a 2.8 pulley. Or is the gator really that good?

***EDIT***

I see on summitracing.com you can get smaller, just the size increment jumps quiet a bit.

I have had the belt for awhile and it has worked great. It makes more belt noise at idle. I think you will be fine with this belt b/c there was a lot left in the tensioner with the 3.1 pulley.

You can also do the (Moregrip) more wrap idler pulley mod, it changes the Idler pulleys out for larger 100mm ones which tightens the belt and gives it more wrap around the blower pulley.

or you can do the 8rib mod, that should work great but more exspensive.

Autozone has the Gatorback belts. Checker doesn't carry them....

I think I am using a 111.5" on my 3" pulley. I'll check for you later. I have a small amount of belt dust, so mine is slipping a little. Might need to go back to a 110.5".
