Blow off valve ratings for my set up?

I have the STS BOV. It is a 38mm TiAL AFAIK. It is definately a TiAL BOV. It comes with a new powder coated intake pipe with a mount already welded on and has an 11# spring in it. It is a nice piece and installs just before the MAF. I would consider it while you are looking. it will only open when you back out of it at WOT and your vacuum goes below -11# on deceleration. If you can hear it over the turbo screech you will be lucky.

Are you sure that sound is the WG and not the compressor wheel? I'm going to be going with STS's BOV and I'm having second thoughts after hearing this. I NEED a BOV that works, as I'm putting in a T56 next week.

vanillagorilla, I still get the compressor surge when I back out of it but I thought it was doing something. Because of that I am not sure if it is working properly or not. The boost gauge shows I am getting -11.xx# so it should be opening but I have no way to actually test it. It gets its vacuum signal from the same line as the boost gauge so it should be working. I could not connect mine to the brake booster line because I have the hydro assisted brakes.
Have fun with the T56.

I know a couple of cool ricer guys and one told me he could get the same thing your talking about for free. He's got a buddy with a salvage yard.
