Default blow thru turbo carb ?

So i've got a speed demon 750 that i'm thinking of using in a blow thru single turbo setup (mid mount just behind the cab). Now i know there are a few things you have to to do it for that but does anyone knwo where i could just send my carb to have it setup for that? And what other mods would i have to do to support the fuel system. I'm shooting for 550-600 rwhp with a sbc 355. specs....

forged bottom
11:1
230/244/113 .525/.534 flat tap cam ( probably going to swap to a 230/230/114 solid roller)
ported 441 heads flow 284/237 @ .600"
weiand single plane intake

i plan on running meth injection and an intercooler under the cab with fans.

Yes it can be done, its a lot of work though.

Friend has a 409 ci with a 109mm turbo on a carb. Ill get the info on who you need to send the carb to. This guy builds all the pro drag turbo carb cars.

So far my buddys truck which is a 85 full weight truck went 11.4 @121 mph. But it also drinks 3 gallons of fuel a pass. Big motor big turbo = lots of fuel.

You will probably also want a intercooler, fuel system, the works. The money ads up in a hurry.

I've had a few modified by Scott at SDCE One was a 750 Demon. Carbs have run awesome out of the box. Lots more than just solid floats, milling the choke housing (if it exists) and jetting. Usually re-does the metering blocks, air bleeds, sometimes boosters, etc. depending on the application.

If the carb is modded by someone who knows what to do like the guys above it is VERY streetable. My last two carbs from SDCE were every bit as smooth to drive as an EFI setup. Didn't get the mileage of EFI though!

Who ported your 441's to flow 284/237cfm? Damn.

Anyway are you planning on lowering your CR a little. 11:1 seems kinda high, unless you don't run much boost or timing.

me and my die grinder in the back yard did the 284/237 along with 2.05 /1.60 valves.

I plan to run meth starting @ 1 psi and a intercooler. I only plan on maybe 5-6 lbs considering the soon to be solid roller and my heads.

the motor was originally planed for a 150 shot of juice, but i've changed my mind and want boost.

You should be safe, plus it all about the DCR anyway. Although the 114LSA isn't ideal it will help you out. The engine in my car is very similar to yours, and I've thought about boosting it too. You could always switch to some 72 or 74cc heads to drop the CR to run more boost.

Another thing to consider is the carb hat. They're not all created equal. Check out superiorairflow.com. They've done extenssive testing in this area. You might want to consider a carb enclosure too. I hear that they can increase the drivability and perforance.
