Haha, but ya, I've owned & modded Duramaxes, and some 6.5l TD's as well. And I've helped out a couple of guys with turbo'd Silverados up here. There aren't many, but they do exist in the wild of Alaska.

When I ever have the chance to build another boosted truck, there's about a 50/50 chance that a turbo will be involved. There's just sooooo many really cool forms of forced induction to choose from these days. It makes it really hard to choose when you can only afford one.

Buddy, Just get an HD tensioner .
Its a must have anyway, while not have the best components you can under your hood??
I have not thrown a belt with my HD tensioner, i did break one once, my fault as i saw the old belt starting to frey.
I run the dayco belts, HD tensioner and dayco 101mm idlers.
PM 03sierraslt, he has the part # for the gates HD green belt, and he runs the hd tensioner and a 101mm idler on his 2300.
