I believe I may be blowing oil out from the oil cap, it never seemed to sit on completely tight. Has anyone ever experienced oil blowing out from in between the valve cover and heads?

What would the remedy be for this? Run the catch can from one valve cover to another, and then put a small filter on top of the oil cap using a fitting to hold it in place?

I know you have the sts and is your oil return line still on the cap?
If so, tap the valve cover and put it there.

Almost every cap that has the return there seems to leak just a bit. It's just not a tight seal or sturdy enough to support a hose.

The return line comes off the valve cover right below where the cap is.

I ve never seen it " blow" out between the two, but I have experienced blowing my diostick and engine fill cap off under boost on an old motor, motor was hurt

It's possible that your valve cover gasket may not be sealed. Have you ever had the covers off?

I actually believe it might be coming out of the cap itself. The cap has a decent amount of play in it, and never sealed firmly onto the valve cover. I have had the valve covers off, but it never did it before

the cap will screw right into the cover, without the filler neck.
