it was easier for me to tune OLSD 2 bar, even with Meth.

But you can try either way and see which you like better.

The Gen IV PCMs are a PITA to do SD because of the virtual VE tables.

I run a 2bar or 3bar SD. The stock maf maxed out relatively quickly, so I went sd instead of trying to scale everything, which is a pain in the ***.

Have you figured out the tuning with the new PCMs and meth yet? I know at some point you said you were working on a program to help with tuning. One day I'd like to put some FI on my Vmax and it would be nice to have a tuning solution.

Whats the current issue with meth on the new pcms? Set the controller for the amount of meth of meth you want and adjust fueling as needed...

Real rich spike when method comes in I believe. It's been a while since I've seen Jake post anything about it and I honestly didn't pay much attention since I drove an old school truck back then. Now that I've got a newer truck and I would like to boost it I'm paying a bit more attention.

If I remember correctly, jake is using a alky control kit, which is progressive from an initial amount....you could set the initial amount low and increase the ramp rate so it is somewhat linear with the normal fueling, that should make it easy.

I'm working on all kinds of crap Hopefully get some or all of it finished this summer. Simple solution for running an Alky control meth kit is running SD. Since Julio uses a MAP sensor to determine how much meth to deliver, it basically runs on SD itself. Much easier to pull out fuel to add meth based on MAP, vs MAF. Otherwise you risk running into the problem of high rpm and low/no boost where you've pulled fuel in the upper MAF range, so it goes lean without the meth. Conversely, if you're lugging up a hill in OD at low RPM and load the turbo, meth can kick in a bunch as boost rolls in without a lot of fuel being demanded and make it pig rich.

Looks like I'll be running that same AL block engine that is in your new truck Cody, I'll let you know how much it takes lol.
