Default boost bleed off with cam?? excessive belt slip???

.591, .601 lift... 115 LSA...230/236 duration, I'm running a 122 on my 408 with 8.8:1 comp. 2.8 inch 6 rib pulley... max psi i'm seeing is 4.5 to 5 pounds.. what gives, it looks like my gauge is fluctuating a bit, i don't know whether its my mind telling me that it is or I just want to see it fluctuating.. be an easy fix for an 8 rib.. but if its the cam, then what?? any help

A 115 shouldn't bleed off boost. I would check the pulleys for rubber, to see if it is slipping, or put a healthy tensioner on it. Why did you switch from turbo to blower??(curious)

DING DING I will say your spinning the crank pulley. That is a must if your running a blower... Do it now before you wipe out the snoute.. I didn't even think to ask that.. Take a look at it

A low compression 408 with a decent cam is allot of motor for a 122 maggie IMO. Now if you could spin it fast enough by using one with a jackshaft (Like the TBSS kits) then thats different.

A front drive MP122 won't feed a 408 with a big cam.....just plain and simple. The crank pulley may be spinning, but it really doesn't matter. That's not enough blower for the motor.
