I also run the Autometer Phantom electric boost and fuel however I mounted the transducer under the hood and just ran the electrical lines into the cab.

No I do, that's the problem! I have a braided steel fuel line running up my A Pillar into my pillar pod where my fuel pressure guage is...right at eye level! I didn't find out until later but I don't feel comfortable having 60lbs of fuel pressure actually aimed at my face. God forbid I get in an accident and roll over, that gauge will break and leak fuel all over me in an accident. It will change very soon though.

Thanks for the input guys. It looks as if I will be going with the mechanical 30/30 gauge. They are a third the cost of electrical plus from my research, I read that the mech's are more accurate and durable than the ele's. Case and point, the stock electric boost gauge (made by AutoMeter) in my wife's Cobalt SS got stuck on 15 InHg yesterday. From what I read this is a common occurrence with these particular gauges. It also slipped my mind that I will be going to a 2 bar map and os so I wont need the input into HPT from the sending unit as I was originally thinking.

Same here. Stew Warner Mechanical. I'm thinking about changing it because it always seems to stick, reading approx. 1 psi lower until I give it a flick. Sucks azz. Mech. Fuel Gauge sticks too. I thought these would be better than run of the mill Autometer.... not
