coming from comp. i doubt they last longer, theyll probably break sooner!!

agree with TB, brain is a very knowledgeable guy, hes helped a bunch! id give him a call i bet he could get you a set pretty darn quick.

I think they are either brittle, or its a defect, as the exhaust valve is more likely to float (and one of them looks like the intake valve).

I've seen way to many threads about beehive springs breaking.

I think i'm going to go a ahead and knock out the trunion upgrade from comp as well. Figure with the good bump is pressure, wouldn't hurt these high mile rockers.

dual spring all the way. too many beehives breaking. ran patriot duals for 4 yrs hundreds of 7000rpm revs. i worry about the stock lifters w/ increased spring pressure before the rockers. Patriot duals have 155lb seat i believe.

Any downsides to running dual springs on a low lift (<0.570") cam and LS7 lifters?

I am running the PRC 675 springs, they are on their 4th engine so far and only issue has been a broken inner spring which Texas Speed replaced for free. Not a bad product if you ask me.

good out ways the bad. might be a little harder on valvetrain w/ high seat pressure, but won't float valves or drop one. i have .558 lift cam, springs rated at .660.
