Boost & PAC 1518's = 2 Broken Springs....

Didn't notice a thing man, truck was running like a champ. I would like to know how long it's been like that though.
Hey man i'm just sharing whats working and whats not for my truck. Others may have different results, but i'll share the good and the bad for my rig. So far Texas Speed contacted PAC today, still waiting on what if anything can be done. I bought these Jan of 2011, but they didn't get installed till September and I left for a 3 month deployment after that. So it's their call, they don't have to a thing for me.
Well god bless America, I hope they longer then these PAC's did.

That's the same point on the spring where 2 of my 918s broke and blew my engine a few years ago when they were only a few months old. I have been running Patriot Gold's ever since and have no problems. I wonder if PAC gets theirs from the same supplier as Comp?? Thanks for sharing though. You're lucky to catch it before it dropped a valve like mine did.

I agree, that is not acceptable. I put PAC 1518's in mine last summer, I'd be really pissed if one broke before 40K with my comp 212/218 cam.
My local speed shop says beehive springs are JUNK.
