Default Boost A Pump Guys, Inside.

I recently put my BAP on, but haven't hooked it up yet because I haven't had the chance to get it tuned. I mounted it on the fuse box, but it seems like it gets pretty hot from engine heat, and It's not even functioning yet. The manual says the BAP doesn't need to get above 300 degrees, but I'm a little skeptical about how hot it is going to get when operating. Hopefully it will be alright, but I was curious as to where you all mounted yours. Here's a pic of mine.

Most are installing in the interior of the vehicle. I did see one installed under the plastic cowl but not sure if it was a newer truck or not.

Magnacharger uses a Magnavolt (very similar) and the instructions are to mount it on the lid of the fuse box. You should be fine there I think.

That's what I was thinking, I knew they came with some supercharger kits. Hopefully It will be alright, my tuner said they install them under hoods of cars often, so I bet it will hold up.

It will be fine there. Three years with no issues. If it was under the cowl or near the edge of the fender then you might have issues. My nitrous solenoids are under my cowl & they get wet when i wash the truck or it rains.

Sweet, I was hoping for someone to also have mounted it there. Btw, what is that, your overflow tank?
