Default Boosted E85 as daily driver?

I've been weighing the pros and cons of converting to E85 in my truck. I put about 10,000 miles a year on it and plan to for awhile. I'm looking for reliable power and from what I've read E85 will be safer(cooler) and add conciderable rwhp.
input/advice?

Did you need another pump along with the 60#'ers? What is your rwhp?
Thanks for the info.

As long as you have places to get it near you I would.

I say if it's plentiful in your area, go for it. The money you will save driving that much will easily pay for the fuel system upgrades. More timing equals more hp. I have a buddy that converted his Kenne Bell Cobra over this summer, and he saw some really nice gains. The nearest pump is 20 miles away though lol

i have a walbro 255 now and i em out of pump. i think i would of been fine if i didn't have a cam but im loosing fuel pressure pretty good at wot so i need to upgrade to a dual pump set up and go return style fuel system from what i have been reading. as far as hp numbers i couldn't tell you. all i know is my buddys supercharged srt8 made 510hp to the wheels at a dyno in nor cal area and i take him by 2 truck lengths to 110 mph and i think i weigh 6-700 more pounds then him so i dont know if there is a formula to figure out my hp with what i just said . but if you have a stock pump you'll probably need to upgrade for sure.

Thanks alot for the info. I am doing a cam swap next and that should put me around 500rwhp. I imagine I'd need a fuel delivery overhaul too.

I think 600-700HP is good for twin intank pumps on E85. I drove my truck as a DD most of last year on my E85.
