Bosch 044 in-line help
think i am gonna go with a bosch 044 as a booster pump. my question is where is the best spot to mount it, should i get one of those 1way check valves, and where can i get the fuel lines to go back to the tank? i am gonna get the wiring kit from jay's racing.

what kind of hp you plan on making/?? That is a pretty big pump to mount externaly. You have to mount it on the inside of the frame rail driver side, under the cab( prob best, if not only spot). I would put it in the tank, do some bucket work.. Just my op.. Here is a write up I did, on the wiring and install on that same pump...

yeah mangled i saw your post, great work btw, is there really that much to it? should i run a check valve so it starts easier? and why did you have to adjust the sending unit arm? does the overall depth of the unit get changed? and what did you use for the posts on the top of the unit? i saw the relay/wiring kit jay's racing had and i'll probably go with it. anyway i would perfer to dunk it but i hate to say it but am a little unsure of my own fab work. i service automatics at a gm dealer so i know i could find a donor to do surgury on. i have a 00' silverado so i guess any 99-say '04 return style unit would work huh?

i just finished my 044 install today. i had to do some "modifying" to that top threaded piece... IE i had to turn the threads off on a lathe so i could fit the submersible fuel line(24$/foot) on there without tearing . i used 12 gauge hot 10 gauge ground. 30 amp relay with a 20 amp HD fuse inline incase anything happens
