It is just a rubber hose. It's i.d. is small enough to fit on that port securely with no clamps.

Some times those BOV get stuck from sitting so long. Might pull it off the pipe and manually push it open. A little silicone spray on it will help too. The spring that comes in them is really stiff. I usually cut them down, but don't remember if I did on that one or not. You will still get some compressor surge, that is normal unless you put a really light spring in it. It uses the same springs as a tial if you want to buy a lighter one, but you can also just try to find a light one at you local hardware store.

I have a tial it had the 12psi spring. I needed about a 6-7 So I started cutting off coils 1/2 a coil at a time. Took 3-1/2 coils before I got it right. You have to use a some kind of grinder or dremel. I couldn't cut mine with anything else. Start with half a coil at a time. Take it for a drive, if it doesnt work cut another 1/2 coil off...

There is plenty of vacuum coming of of that at idle.

Is there a certain size line i should use? mine is pretty small right now, what size are you running?
I used 1/4" hose for the BOV and wastegate. The source you choose is the same one I use. Without modifying my BOV or wastegate they both seem to work fine right at 7-8psi

I have a boost distribution block running off that tab. I am running bov, wg, bc, and bg off this one port with no problems at all. Sounds like something is wrong with your bov. Nick
