broke my belt tensioner today

And it was the new upgraded one too. Good thing I hung onto the old one. I wonder if there is a warranty on that thing?

what the hell u broke the hd one dawm probaly the belt was strech and fell off causing the tensioner to spring back hard and break

Damn, hope you didnt get stuck anywhere. Where are you guys picking these up from? I haven't broke one yet, knock on wood, but would like to grab one before I do. TIA.

i broke two stock ones the second one broke the water pump and put a big hole in, and bent the bolt where it attaches to the water pump

I had a good tight belt on it. I went into full boost and hears an ungodly noise.....I thought I blew an exhaust gasket....my tensioner was jumping around and a horrible noise. broke the pins off the back sie.
