Just the single AEM340 pump, and the 15 inch LONG Hydramat.

Just looked to re-order (spare) Hydramat.
damn things are now 233 dollars.
.. need to buy more lottery tickets.

Any news on your build? Got the cutout installed yet?

I did something similar with my dads 2003 suburban 1500 this summer.
Started out with a small 209/217 summit truck cam and headers last year, all else stock. It was still a turd.(rings ungapped, I'm sure gaps are big as the engine has 230k miles)
Added on3 performance turbo kit, 2007 truck electric cooling fans, VS racing 67/65 billet .96AR turbo($250), GM1261312 flex injectors, wally 450 pump, 4l80e swap. This injector/pump setup is at 80% duty cycle at 6psi boost and E70. ECU calculates 500ftlbs TQ.
Its dads daily, and he loves it. There is quite literally ZERO turbo lag. Lights turbo at all rpms. We are only running like 5-6psi boost and full e85(flex fuel) with 23 deg timing up top and the power is awesome. It tows really nice.
This is all ran thru the stock muffler and we even added a cheapie 3" cat converter(ma was complaining about the smell). It does seem to be a little restrictive, but only in high rpm.
Its no duramax diesel, but much much better than it was before.
Most recent mod was an electric cutout to bypass cat and muffler for party time. Dad approves, lol.

If it were my ride and I were to redo the build, I would leave the stock cam. Dad just likes the chop. I also am not a huge fan of the on3 kit. It works great, but the proximity to the cooling hoses/AC and the heater hoses just made it a pain. I had to delete the coolant expansion tank and go with an inline radiator cap from like a 2007 Buick. Also the turbo is much further forward than other manifolds, making it difficult to get an air filter on the turbo. Managed to get a silicone 90 fitting and still use the stock airbox and filter.

No cutout.
Removed stock 2.75" exhaust, hogged out the forward connector FLANGE, welded in a 3.5" ID pipe connector, and ran all 3.5" pipe, with a BIG Walker # 21470 diesel bus muffler:

Sounds very LOW in tone, no drone. Quiet inside, kind of sounds like a BIG Cat purring at cruise, add throttle sounds more like a growl. MORE throttle and you just hear the turbo sucking air .
Going to 3.5" exhaust freed up a YUGE amount of restriction, gets into boost a full second quicker, and so far up to 193 kPa at 4400 rpm.
Getting rid of the stock muffler , and silly-size stock. 2.75" od pipe was a massive improvement.
