Default Which Cam?

I am trying to figure out which cam will benifit my setup the most. I currently have a stock bottom end lq9 with the 224/224 cam and I'm looking for a more "blower friendly" cam. I am also looking for good street manners even though it's not my daily driver anymore. I think either cam would be a good choice but any input would be appreciated and I'm leaning towards either the epp cam which is:

Dur @ .050 232 int 240 exh
Lift .595 int .608 exh
Lobe Sep 115.0

Or the thunder racing cam:

Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
TR - 224/236 .609/.607 117 LSA

Thanks again!!!!

you will want to get some good flowing heads for either cam .... if i was you will go with some patriots or something like that ... and go with the EPP cam

I posted my dyno graph for a 226-238, 601-601, 114 in the post "out with the old...." We toned down the cam duration 222-236, for a little better idle on my new build. A lot depends on your heads and where you want your power band. Assuming your heads will flow, the epp will make more power in the high rpms but likely less torque in the mid range. The other cam will be much more drivable while making good torque in the mid range. For trucks, I like more torque at lower rpms.

When he txt'd me earlier, this was the advice i gave him... "Save your money!!!" lol. i think he's done 3 cam swaps in that truck and two on this motor. Not to mention about 5+ exhaust changes. haha. Dustin is putting a Stroker motor in sometime within the next 6months-year and when he does that he's gonna swap cams anyways. His truck runs very good right now, i know his cam isnt perfect but it performs well enough to get him by until the stroker motor/new better heads! I say don't waste anymore money, enjoy your truck the way it is, and run it hard ! if you want more before you get the stroker, use the money you were going to spend on the cam swap/parts and buy a used nitrous kit and spray a 75 shot. REMEMBER, you have the dmax for the DD now!!

I think the cam I have now will get me by untill I get around to the new build. I am hoping to have a 408 built within 6 months to a year. For now, I'm going to go ahead and run dual 3 inch into a dual in/out magnaflow muffler. I think it will sound good and flow well too. Thanks for all the advise and I'll keep you all posted!!!!
