Default cam choice

I scattered my 6.0 at lsfest so I am throwing together another 5.3 for my ecsb z71. I'm just gonna run about 8 to 10 psi. I have a t4/t66 with a 1.09 a/r. I'm just going to throw some rod bolts, my head studs and maybe change came, currently running an ls6 cam and has ran pretty good but I would like the truck to lope

I am also running a 3k stall and 3.73s. Is there a good turbo cam with a lope?

Thats a pretty decent sized n/a cam in a 5.3. It would work but would definitely not be ideal and would want a pretty good sized converter. Small cams respond very well with turbos. LS6 would be a much better choice IMO

I was actually going to say the Isky cam as well. 212/212 on 112lsa. Its a good compromise cam if you still want a little sound/lope in the 5.3L.

Some people also use the 218/218 isky cam but on larger cube engines than the 5.3L. I think the 218/218 would be better or the TU1 speed inc if you still had the 6.0 and a bigger 76mm turbo.

I think 02'Z71ONDUBZ' meant to say a speed inc TU0 not a TU1 for your engine / turbo config.
