thanks dubbed z71! that vinci trucker sure does have a split that id want.. is it that cam or the torquer v2 that needs the 7.45 pr's? or something like that i forget where i read that. also what do you guys think about the stall speed for a torque converter? i was leaning torwards a 2800 since it is a light truck.. i know regardless im going to light the tires but i dont want to spin for hours nailing it with a 3200.
@lucille when are you plannin on throwing the mag on? i want to see some numbers!!

Why get an off the shelf cam when you can get one designed to suit YOUR needs? Granted, I don't have experience with custom cams, or FI for that matter, and I'll be guilty of running the 212/218 with the R-TVS, but it's supposed to work fine with the blower and it's already in the truck, a custom one is next.
There's no other way than custom cam in my book, specially when going FI: With all the $$$ I'm dumping on this thing I don't wan't to leave anything on the table, and this is for my DD. If I could only get a nice lope out fo a blower cam that'd be the icing on the cake. Of course not going to happen.
Damn, I should install the blower instead of loosing my time here

Just installed my Pat G spec'd blower cam. Picked up 74.6 peak HP and 56.4 peak TQ. Even better I picked up (from 3000 rpm on up) an average of 36.8 HP and 39.7 Ftlbs of torque. Keep in mind that this is a small cam on a 6.0 that's nearly stealth.
Can't wait to see what it will do with the maggie!

HI, I am interested in using a cam like the one you have in your pickup and was hoping you would share some info. I have a 6.0L with a maggie 112, shorty 1 3/4 headers,90mm TB, Patriot HDs. I'd like to know how smooth your idle is, where peak hp & tq is, dino #s, and where you bought your cam. Also any input on the smaller blower. Appreciate your help. Dan
