thanks dubbed z71! that vinci trucker sure does have a split that id want.. is it that cam or the torquer v2 that needs the 7.45 pr's? or something like that i forget where i read that. also what do you guys think about the stall speed for a torque converter? i was leaning torwards a 2800 since it is a light truck.. i know regardless im going to light the tires but i dont want to spin for hours nailing it with a 3200.

@lucille when are you plannin on throwing the mag on? i want to see some numbers!!

Hopefully before the end of the year. It's currently being used to design some cooling improvements

There's no other way than custom cam in my book, specially when going FI: With all the $$$ I'm dumping on this thing I don't wan't to leave anything on the table, and this is for my DD. If I could only get a nice lope out fo a blower cam that'd be the icing on the cake. Of course not going to happen.

Damn, I should install the blower instead of loosing my time here
Same here, 212/218 is what I have & I'll be using. Supposed to be good, just as GT2-3, Vinci Trucker. Also, LS6 & it's cheap to get, but some on here say LS6 can be improved upon. Any of those I'd think. Most seem to stay around these, but LEP has some too. I just don't know many on here running em, but Zippy could probably provide some insight on the LEP cams.

Can't wait to see what it will do with the maggie!
Nice gains for sure!

The 212/218 is a good cam down low and mid range. Ive enjoyed using it over the past 5 years - would recommend opening up the exhaust duration to say 224 or 230.

HI, I am interested in using a cam like the one you have in your pickup and was hoping you would share some info. I have a 6.0L with a maggie 112, shorty 1 3/4 headers,90mm TB, Patriot HDs. I'd like to know how smooth your idle is, where peak hp & tq is, dino #s, and where you bought your cam. Also any input on the smaller blower. Appreciate your help. Dan
