can i add 110 or c16 to 93 to increase boost or timing.

I have about 20 runs that are all about identical. So what i am getting from this is that its best to add a little timing and see when power starts to drop down the back the timing up a little? I dont think that i will rely on knock. i check it after each run but i will not use that to find MBT. Will the added octane allow for more boost?
