Default Can you smell belt slip?

Get a smell after a couple full boost pulls kinda like burnt rubber. No it's not the tires, kinda smells like it's around the engine compartment. Fiqured I'm getting a little belt slip, but I'm not finding any dust. I'm running a 3.0 pulley with a Goodyear Gatorback # 4061115. Sound pretty normal?

When I had belt slips with my old Radix I never smelled it, just had lots of belt dust on the pulley.

If you are not running it already, I would suggest one of the new upgraded tensioners.

I can't say that I have ever smelled rubber after pulls. Lots of dust on the pulleys. I don't even see that anymore.

The belts will dust up for the first 500 or so miles as they break in. The only thing I can think of that would smell like that would be a wire harness or power steering lines hitting the exhaust. Check the power steering lines on the drivers side.

No dust that I have noticed, no wires or hoses on the exhaust, can't '"feel" any slipping, no glazing noticed. Funny that I only smell it after a couple full boost pulls. Guess it'll let me know what it is one day. lol
