Gauge and map sensor are in the intake manifold and yes you are correct BigKid, still points to a need for a bigger gate. I am real close to topping out all I am putting my dd through. Wanna hit 10's in it and move on to a lighter truck platform.

With the gate hooked to the scroll it must be bleeding off at the gate early though to lower the boost. Takes longer to spool now. may have to hook it back to the manifold and just tune for 16+psi. BIg race this weekend. we will see how it works out.

Ive always heard to not reference the wg from the manifold. I know it will "work" that way but you should only reference bov and boost gauge from the manifold. My wg is referenced from the scroll

After a few 3rd gear pulls at over 20 psi, the cooling system overflowed on the driveway and the top radiator hose was full of air. I am guessing I lifted a head and got compression in my cooling system. Heads gaskets , studs and bigger wastegate time.

Are you running bolts or studs? Aftermarket or stock? Stock heads? Were they milled at all? Just wondering because I have milled heads with studs.

Studs and ls9's you'll be able to handle everything that turbo's got. Tty bolts are complete junk.
