Card style MAF swap with relocated IAT for Methanol
Ive seen a few users on the site switch to the card style maf sensor (LS3 I belive), and I was wondering if you can run the card style MAF with a remote mount Intake air temp sensor such as the one from F.A.S.T:
The reason for doing this would be to monitor the air temps after the methonal injection would this be a good idea or should I just run the LS3 MAF as is with injection behind it?
Also the color wiring for my stock MAF seems different from others:
From right to left the colors are and what they are (I presume)
A- Yellow (MAF Sensor signal)
B- Red/Pink (Igntional Voltage +)
C- Black (ground)
D- Tan (?? IAT sensor signal )
E- Black with White Stripe (?? IAT Sensor signal)
The Wiring for the LS3 MAF is like this:
A- Yellow (MAF signal wire)
B- Black ( ground)
C- Pink ( Ignitional Voltage +)
D- Violet (Low reference )
E- Tan ( IAT sensor signal)
Which wires would I use on the Card Style MAF

What are the advantages of going to the card style maf and separate iat sensor say on a nnbs truck? I still have the stock maf on my 2011 and I haven't had any problems with it does going with a setup like this better something? Asking because I see a lot of people doing it on older trucks and I can see the benefit on that platform but why on a nnbs truck? Isn't my maf pretty good as far as reading accurate and quick?

Benefits of having a seperate iat sensor when spraying meth is if you run out of meth or have an issue your iats go high and the PCM can pull timing.
