It's probably made in the same factory lol. I've heard of bad thing about on3 but it's mainly the customer service. My on3 has about 4k miles on it and works perfectly. I think Im going to try this 80mm out.

Let us know how it performs. I might have to give this turbo a try on my LOW BUDGET 6.0 stock LY6 build.

Its just the turbo. I built my own kit but if you lack the ability or tools to do so there are 2 good pre-fabbed kits-Trick performance and KB racing

It would be interesting to know what the manufacturing tolerances are compared to the more expensive non-knock off turbo is made to.
What does a turbo rebuild cost these days??
Just wondering if this less expensive turbo could be brought up to the better turbo's specs for less $$$ even with combined price or new and rebuilt?

On3 claims theirs is made in the Magnum factory, and they do look identical.
Maybe it's the same idea.

It is extremely common for the Chinese contracted to manufacture companies to reverse engineer products from what USA and other companies are having them build.
Then sell the knock off at half price and steal the market.
Unfortunately the stealing of engineering technology is what is really hurting manufacturing here in the USA, not to mention wages or $5 a day for someone in China running a CNC knocking out these parts.
I was a tool maker in my previous profession, stamping dies specifically and I saw that entire market leave and go to China.
