My crossover has a three bolt flange on the driver side and the standard v band flange on the passenger side. Has anybody ever flanged the passenger side instead of using the v band? Any pros or cons to doing this?

 

We use a custom 3 bolt flange that used a stock crush oring.

 

Could you show me a pic of how it's mounted please

 

It's 2 flanges bolted together.
1 is casted to my manifold.
1 is welded to the crossover

Is there any Clarence issues to the head or block? Able to get to the bolts and nuts fine?

 

No clearance issues.
No bolts and nuts. We use studs in the manifold. Simple Extention and socket gets to to all bolts pretty easy.

 

Oh nice. Do you sell just the passenger side flanges?

 

I sell the crossover sets. - 1 drive 1 passenger.the manifold one is casted to the manifold.

 

Ah ok. Don't sell the passenger pair? I just want to change my vband setup to a stud setup for better sealing
