Daily boosted 5.3 best cam?
I am planning on doing a turbo build on my 2012 yukon (lmg 5.3). I have an S475 T6 turbo and most of the plumbing. My current goal is 500-550 flywheel hp (probably 7 ish lb of boost for now) until I build the trans, which won't be for at least a year, but probably closer to 2. I plan to still daily drive this yukon, and I do not plan on (any) racing aside from rolling highway pulls. This brings me to my question, which is what cam is best suited for my goals? I am ok with some slight chop, but like I said I will be daily driving it and I do not want it to be too rowdy. I have considered an ls6 cam, but most of their power comes in the >3,000rpm range, which is not useful for me due to my lack of racing and the fact that I will still be occasionally using the yukon to trailer. I've heard that a 212/218 .550 might be perfect for me, as it offers great power at lower rpms and it is a mostly smooth idle. Thoughts?

Id run something like this one.
https://cammotion.com/camshafts/tc-2...214-214-113-3/
Years ago i ran a Isky 215/215 .566/.566 114+3 in my LQ4 with a S475 and it did awesome for towing and running a stock 4L80E torque converter. It made good low end power and the boost come in pretty good for towing.

OP,
Take a look at our Pro LS Truck stage 1 high-lift SUM-8719R1. Specs on it are .550/.550, 209/217, 112+1 with -10* of overlap. This will be friendly for everything that you're looking for. It will have a smooth idle to a noticeable lope depending on the idle speed. With its 36* IVC it will have good off idle torque with a strong mid-range and good top-end. It will be easy to tune and get along with for daily use and towing duties. With its valve events, it will work well with boost. The 8719R1 will be happy out to 6,200+ with budget-friendly LS6 springs. As an upgrade, we offer Trickflow by PAC TFS-16918-16 .600" lift beehives. Lastly, this will work just fine with a stock torque converter.
For an idea of the idle see the video below.
Something we didn't see mentioned is with this being an LMG you'd have both AFM and VVT. Most if not all aftermarket 3 bolt cams won't work with AFM or VVT. Take a look at our AFM delete kits or this VVT delete combo if you haven't deleted these already.
