Yeah, i was looking at the "touring" package from Corsa for the 8100 over on Tbyrne's site earlier today. Its like $1100 for the whole kit. I was hoping he would have logged my IP addy, realized who it was, then called me at home to extend me a 50% off list price special + free install....................haven't heard from him yet.

Seriously though, i was looking at the Corsa stuff and liked what i saw. The problem is like any other freakin thing you buy for the 8.1L.........no one can give you any input because there seem to be so few of us out there modding the big blocks. Good looking system though.

Yeah, sounds like we're in the same boat. Those numbers are real close to my dyno numbers too. I had a few more HP than that but a few less TQ. Are you running a speed density tune with that truck? I am not ready to tear apart the engine just yet....but that Raylar performance package looks fuggin sweet! I noticed the whipple really starts heating up when you start spinning it past its efficiency range. What kind of IATs are you seeing spinning that high? You have the whipple A2W intercooler on it? After installing the fluidyne heatxchanger on my kit the IATs went down considerably. Sitting parked for 10 minutes in 95* weather last summer and the IATs never went above 130* and cruising temps barely hit 100*.
No SD tune MAF works fine for now , IAT's will be handled when we put the 525 in . Some meth and a custom fabbed heat exchanger .

How about a stock Duramax exhaust? 3.5" should be just right for your combo

How much room do you have between the right side of the supercharger and the master cylinder/hydroboost unit? How about clearance between the hood and the top of the supercharger?
If you're willing to fabricate, make an adapter for the braket to hold a W200AX and then build your own inlet and bypass system.
I have intentions of putting a W200AX on the 454. I think the compressor is going to end up mounted on the driver side too but standing on its side with the discharge toward the passenger side instead of pointed down and flat.

According to the PDF's on Whipples page it looks like the W200 is 1.10" wider, 1.09" taller, and 1.34" longer than the WX140. I will have to take some measurements and see where that puts me. Height and width i'm sure are fine....its the length thats gonna be a problem (where have i heard that before ). Right now I am with in .75" of the firewall hitting the throttle body. The only way i can see it working is by fabbing up a snorkle sort of like the Maggies have or like Kenne Bell does on the mustangs. Otherwise I am going to hit the firewall or go beyond my plumb line for the drive belts.

Yes, but i could spray AND be supercharged if i wanted too..

Dont get me wrong i love what this 2.3L compressor has done to wake this truck up....sometimes i think its for the better that I cant run more boost because I would have probably blown the damn thing up by now. I cant complain that a little over 6lbs has taken this big as truck past the 500lb/ft of TRQ mark and shaved about 3 seconds off my 1/4 mile times.
