Not run one. I wouldn't do it on gas though.

I guess e98 would be alright, but there's no arguing that the cooling properties of methanol are better than ethanol.

E98 = 98% ethanol.

I'm doing the same thing. Dedicated race truck without intercooler and burning c16. I'm going to use meth injection though to try to help with heated air charge. Here's a couple of threads I found interesting:http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/force...th-needed.html

yep, thats where the 98 in the name comes from. He said that you need to run alcohol, not ethanol. I was just pointing out one car that works with ethanol.

Yeah, the only problem I have with E98, is I'm not sure how its legal!

Last time I checked, the ATF requires 5% of a "poison" to denature it. Only way I can see around it is if you get into weight or volume for the extra 3% (although many people use methanol, so the denaturing agent is beneficial).

Just run a good dual nozzle progressive Alky injection kit w/ 100% Alcohol. You can get that to almost run your truck.

There's your chemical intercooler and higher octane in one

I think im going to run a single nozzle setup and run a 75/25 alky/ water combo to start and see where my temps are. and if they are high i will use another nozzle and see what happens. Im only going to run this set up for a while until i can figure this whole tunning thing out then im gonna redo my entire setup and go bi then i will worry about fabbing the inercooler up.

I just dont see the point in working my *** off to build an intercooler set up and then having to redo it. right now im running some baby turbos and dont plan on making huge power on them. and im going to be tunning this myself so i dont want to go all out at first.
