i have a 99 denali with 5.7 to4e turbo running 6lbs of boost 2500 stall converter when i do a brakestand the rpms will go up to 2000 then when it gose over that it bogs i cant spin the tires as soon as i release the brake the turbo spools up and it takes off i cant seem to get boost in first gear i think its because i havent wraped the exhaust yet then i get good boost threw 2nd 3rd 4th

I would say it has something to do with tuning, my truck did that before too but i took care of it in HPT.

I agree, would most likely be tuning issue called torque management. Get Efilive tuned and you should be able to get-ur-done.

There is a table for brake stalling and limiting the tq. Once you reached a certain rpm and the pcm didnt detect wheel movement it would pull timing. I remember reading about it on here. I thought it was only on newer truck though. Like 2003+models.

im going to get a wideband im not getting boost in first today i really pushed the boost then i came to a quick stop and took off and then i built boost in first other than that i have never built boost in first i think the exhaust is too cold its 35 degrees out up here so its sucking the heat out im going to wrap them soon

I'm trying to find the thread that it was talked about in. I know there was a table in EFI Live because I looked at it. I cant remember where it was though.
