You will need to go in and move the timing tables. Do not remember where is was in my efi live, I just remember this table that put the timing to ZERO and will freak you out, the firste time you hit it. I went in and put all those zero's to 10' and ran fine. I am sure someone will be able to into great details.
The truck was an 02 6.0L

i ran mine for about a week without tuning, it'll drive just like normal as long as you stay out of boost.

As long as you stay out of PE then the motor will be fine but without those tables being adjusted you will cetainly fry your motor. I think PE on a stock tune kicks in at around 50% throttle or so, Im sure someone on here knows the exact TP%.

a stock 2000 sierra pcm pe enable trigger for TPS is 50% @ 5200rpm. It is 75% at 4400rpm and gets to 95% down to 1200rpm.

Your question is it safe at 5psi. NO! I wouldn't suggest running a stock N/A tune in any way shape or form with any FI setup. Take your time, get it right.

ordered a 2bar map? it won't work (well, it might work, but you'll probably regret it) without the proper operating system anyway. Asking for trouble IMO unless you do it all with tuning done (or done close enough) as well. You abandoning the MAF then with 2 bar?
