Do bigger turbos make more power?

Yes they have the same wheel but the large frame housings are BIGGER! On exhaust side and cold side, MORE AIR!! More Volume= More Power! geeze lol

True if you have maxed the smaller setup out. I question the trend were guys want to swap out 1200-1400hp turbo's when their making 700-800 to go bigger. I understand free/swap testing, but to be paying for it just doesn't make sense to me.

I picked up a solid 5mph going from both a Tc76/.68 to a Garrett GT76/94/T4 with 1~2 psi less boost as well. The tc76 prob wasn't choking my 6.0L as bad as your 408 but still that's a big gain for same MM compressor, and less boost. The GT76 maxed out will put a solid 10 mph on the TC I think...

My 91 hit 9.8 on 18 psi and ran out of time and fuel to push it further but it showed no sign of stopping and was gaining 2 mph and dropping a tenth with every turn of the boost controller. 00z71 had tranny problems on same day but I believe he's gone 10.5@ 14psi. Im happy with 91 but just want to try a smaller one for comparison. The smallest I've tried was a gt88.
