I think you should try the 1 port method. I believe that gives the best boost control but can only provide a max of spring tension boost levels with no reference. I think that should get you close to 21 psi.

The 2 port method is for more boost via pressure to the top port of the wastegate but i dont think the control is as good.

He said the spring alone gives about 12psi.

He didnt specify if that was with or without a reference to the wastegate.

If the spring pressure is 12psi with the reference line on the bottom of the wastegate, just pull the reference off. Should be around 24psi, give or take. Perfect

Sounds like its working fine, you just have a high back pressure situation. Do you have a gauge to measure BP? Try that hookup method. Alternatively you may want to try the boost correct feature.

Just tested out my Eboost street for the first time. 2 port method #2.

With everything zero'd out I got 9.5 psi. Turned up the Sn to 10 and Gate pressure to 5. Hit a steady 11.5 psi with peak at 12. Holy **** lol. This turbo spools its ******* *** off, dusting the tires from a part throttle roll.

79% IDC @ 5700 rpm.

AFR creeped up to 7.6 up there as I wasn't tuned for that part of the VE table yet. Target AFR is 7.0. Unsure as to whether or not the Walbro 450 is tapped out or it just needed a recalibration.

I think I'm probably going to do the remainder of tuning on a dyno. Don't really feel comfortable driving it hard on the street, not to mention the truck is pretty conspicuous..
