I think what he was referring to is when the meths spays, the IAT drop dramatically cuz of the meth hitting the sensor so you can add more timing then you would normally there, cuz you have the meth to quench knock.

Yep.

I would see about a 20-30 deg drop in IAT. I would have my IAT timing table add in those areas. It works really well because the main timing table maxes out so quickly, of course there are ways around that.

I use this tuning for the street as well. Because it allowed me to run max timing at low boost and no meth and then even more timing at high boost/meth with no tuning.


Theoretically you could do the same with nitrous only in reverse. Of course with the temp always changing it's a bit risky...
