enough room to flip drivers manifold around?

both? lol. id rather go turbo...the instant torque of a charger underneath a light s10 sounds like a traction nightmare. can you shoot me a rough quote on building some hot pipes? i understand it's nothing in stone but i'm trying to get a rough idea of what my budget needs to be on this build.

is there an advantage to a 4.8 over a 5.3? i was thinking a junkyard 6.0. depending on what it costs i'd be willing to drop it with kyle. worst case scenario is i end up making them myself and they probably wont come out anywhere near as nice as kyles setup...im guna do the baller on a budget build with this one. junkyard motor and 4l80e with a shift kit and trans brake. i dont want to have as much tied up into the build as i had into my silverado. hell, i kept a list of what all i sold and how much i got for it...the performance parts that i sold off of my truck came up to $12,000!!! no telling how much i paid for it all i noticed that the s10 guys that swap v8's have no turbo header options. alot of them end up doing rear mount.

rear mount. There's just not a lot of room up front without removing the fender wells. With the turbo technology available today, if you get with the right people, turbo lag associated with rear mount turbos is kind of a thing of the past. With a properly sized turbo, hot pipes, two step, transbrake and tuning, I don't think it would be a problem at all

check out my $800 truck! fixing the ignition switch today and hopefully i can get the 4 banger running. the guy said the engine is bad, but everything ive checked so far looks good. the ignition switch wont turn though so i havent been able to try. i think he got the truck to flip and didnt feel like messing with the ignition switch so he sold it as a bad motor truck. pretty damn good shape for a 1996! it will look alot better sitting on the ground with a 4" cowl and painted satin black
