Naw the drive train should be good if you got the 4l80e. there was some right ups on gmfullsize about useing the 9.25" front end. its not a bolt in deal but it would be nice if someone made a kit to do it.

i thought it was a built motor. did you miss something on the tune?

Looks like uneven fueling to me so far. Logged AFRs were actually rich on both banks. Seems to have been a combination of rich and lean cylinders on both banks though.

Looking at the first run that thing was smoking black most of the way down the track. With that much fuel you'll get puddling in the ring lands and can cause just as much damage from that as being lean. I'm curious though, with that much power why bother with 2wd??? You have much less of a chance of breaking something if you are in 4wd and splitting the power.

I recall the widebands logged something like 10.8 on 1 bank an 11.2 on the other on that run, but from the plugs it looks like 1 & 2 could have been richer.

Looked like some blue smoke to me as well. Which makes sense with blown valve seals, and gunked up cylinders/valve stems.

The rear end is beefed up (14 bolt). Front is stock. Steering was also too wild the few times I tried launching in 4WD on the street. Didn't want to go straight into the guard rail.

My Burban with just the K&N drop in filter, Manaflow exhaust and a tune at full street weight with third row and complete sound system ran 16.01@89. I haven't run it with the other new additions I've added since then, and right now, since I'm deployed and don't need it right now, it's getting a full engine rebuild with all kinds of goodies added on. I'll give you an update. I'm not going with a sc or spray, but It'll be much better than that last run for sure. I will post back as soon as I get back to the states. Hopefully, the track in Jacksonville is open when I get back.
