If you have access to a milling machine you can groove your pulleys to help with the slip. I did it to one of mine and went from 8 lbs to 12 lbs with no other changes. Here is the website I got the idea from. http://www.reichardracing.com/ultra_grip_pulley.php

NORCAL TBSS ..... I run 275/45/R17 MT ET STREET Drag Radials on the factory Z71 rims at the track (Looks Funny) and 305/40/R22 on the street. I travel alot on the highway and I dont want to lose alot of gas milage. I heard 3.42 to 3.73 was worthless but is 3.90 worth the swap. 4.10 I heard eats 2-3mpg more.

If 4.10's eat 2-3 mpg then 3.90's will too. No free lunch - go 4.10's or keep your 3.42's.

suburban I will get my small pulley milled this week and try it out that would be great because i dont feel like spending a thousand bucks on a 8 rib set up or 6 hundred on a bigger crank pulley.

jamesbond I made my inercooler from your design and pat help me through the way I see you are from Canada I am to i live in toronto. the inercooler sounds great but i dont hear it much when i open it up My exhaust sounds like a dragster custom 3 inch dual high flow cats and solo performance mufflers. are you running an 8 rib set up to get 12 pounds i was getting 10-11 before the inercooler went in so i bought a 2.5 pulley and it slips so i bought a new gates tensioner and have not tried it but i am going to mill the 2.5 pulley like suburban said and try it out, any way i would love to see your truck maybe we can meet up some time pm me and i will give you my number. my name is Mike and live near the 400 and 401

At 12 lbs Im beginning to slip at 5500 rpm. I even went to a smaller idler pulley to increase the belt wrap. Ive looked at every option to avoid an 8 rib setup buts it's becoming reality now that I have morepower on tap from the intake changes. Might start off with an 8 inch crank pulley and try to do something to increase belt wrap or mill out a pulley similar to your picture above. Good luck and I sent you a PM.

Wow, 12psi on 42lb. injectors, on a 6.0 with a 2.8L KB Big-Bore? You must be maxed out. What kind of power are you putting down?
